I am the baker behind Vanilla Bean Home Bakery. I am so happy you’re here.

My baking journey started around 2014 when I became obsessed with watching people decorate sugar cookies on YouTube. I had to try it! I was newly married at the time and at night I would a practice decorating cookies, that I would later bring to work or give to friends. A fun creative hobby soon turned into a little side gig and I dove right into the baking world making cake, macarons, cupcakes, marshmallows etc.

Over the next eight years, until current, my baking journey has ebbed and flowed with the stages of life I have been in. I became a mom to two beautiful girls, moved to 4 different cities, my husband and I started a business, built a home (that hopefully we will live in longer than a year or two haha) and so much more.

Now that my girls are getting a tad older, more independent and I have a bit more time, I am able to take this little creative outlet and turn it into something more. I am excited to see where this journey takes me and I appreciate your love and support.
